Dimitrios Skaltsas
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dimitrios is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer at Intelligencia. He has spent the past 10 years in healthcare and life sciences leadership roles. Before Intelligencia, Dimitris led McKinsey’s New Ventures for big data and AI in the Pharmaceutical R&D sector. Prior to that, he was a management consultant supporting Healthcare and Life Sciences clients in North America and Europe. He serves as an Executive in Residence for Digital and AI at INSEAD, and is an investor and advisor to early stage ventures.
Dimitrios has an MBA from INSEAD and a law degree from UCL and University of Athens.
Vangelis Vergetis, PhD
Co-Founder
Vangelis is a co-founder at Intelligencia. He is currently the CEO of Epikast, Inc., a company that partners with biopharmaceutical companies as they engage their most important stakeholders: patients, caregivers, and physicians.
Vangelis has been working in the intersection of healthcare, technology, and data science for almost 20 years. He started his career as a consultant at McKinsey and at Hakluyt, where he spent twelve years advising biopharmaceutical executives on several topics - particularly in launching drugs across disease areas, and in designing and implementing their commercial models and infrastructure. He is a board member and member of the executive committee at the Alliance for AI in Healthcare (AAIH), and a former member of the advisory board for Cornell’s Bowers College of Computing & Information Science (CIS).
Vangelis holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
Maria Chiam
Director of Customer Success
Maria is the Director of Customer Success. Prior to joining Intelligencia, she was part of Komodo Health's Customer Success team serving biotech, pharma and patient advocacy clients and has previously worked in Biotech and Pharma in business development, product management and clinical research roles. Maria is a clinically trained pharmacist and graduate from the College of Pharmacy, Monash University and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, Australia.
Andreas Dimakakos, PhD, MBA
Director of Clinical Data
Andreas is the Director of Clinical Data at Intelligencia, currently responsible for managing the company’s entire internal clinical database. He has spent the majority of his career as an academic researcher with multiple publications in the fields of Oncology and Immuno-Oncology. His research is primarily focused on the ways colorectal cancer evades immune surveillance, and identifying novel molecules involved in prostate cancer metastasis.
Andreas holds a BS in Biology, MS and PhD in Molecular Biology from University of Athens, and an MBA from the ALBA Graduate Business School.
Marianna Esposito, PhD
Business Development Director
Marianna is a Business Development Director at Intelligencia. Professionally trained as a Scientist, she did her post-doc in Immunology at King’s College London & NHS Foundation Trust. Thereafter she moved to the CRO industry, managing R&D and Clinical Operations at Quest Diagnostics Clinical Trials, UK. Prior to Intelligencia, she spent 5 years in Kenya as Business Development Manager for East and Southern Africa for Sight Diagnostics, a fast-growing healthcare start-up headquartered in Israel.
Marianna holds a PhD in Cellular & Molecular Biology from the Open University of London and MS & BS degrees in Biological sciences.
Alexandra Ferraro
Head of Marketing
Alex leads the marketing function at Intelligencia AI where she works on both strategy and campaign execution to elevate the organization’s brand and drive demand for its AI-driven solution to help de-risk drug development. Prior to this role, she held various marketing positions in the health tech and pharma space. Most recently she was the Vertical Marketing Manager for the life sciences and health tech areas for the Healthcare Business of LexisNexis® Risk Solutions where she was instrumental in the launch of the company’s next-generation tokenization solution in January 2022.
Previously she was with IQVIA where she served as a U.S. Portfolio Marketing Manager for the Real-world Solutions and Medical Affairs Centers of Excellence driving awareness and lead generation, identifying new media partners, leading market research, and collaborating with sales teams and subject matter experts on campaign execution. Prior to IQVIA, Alex led public relations for the specialty healthcare technology company, modmed. During her tenure there her responsibilities grew to encompass content development, corporate PR strategy and execution, social media, and demand generation.
Before transitioning to the B2B and health tech industry, Alex began her career at a boutique public relations and social media firm where she propelled their social media capabilities and launched its internship program. Alex is an active volunteer with the George Snow Scholarship Fund as an application reviewer and interviewer for their annual scholarship program for students pursuing a degree in the healthcare field. She attended Furman University in South Carolina on an academic and athletic scholarship, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s in communication studies, and has earned various marketing certifications from Florida Atlantic University, The University of South Florida, and Forrester.
On a personal note, Alex enjoys the warm weather in sunny South Florida where she spends quality time with her family, testing out new recipes in the kitchen, traveling both near and far, reading fiction novels at the beach, and indoor cycling.
Maria Georganaki, PhD
Director of Product
Maria is the Director of Product at Intelligencia. Maria is a molecular cancer biologist with a background in Immuno-Oncology. During her PhD and Post-Doc studies, Maria has participated as an early-stage researcher in the EU-funded Marie Curie Initial Training Network TIMCC and has co-authored 8 academic publications in leading journals.
Maria holds a PhD in Medical Science and an MS in Molecular Medicine from Uppsala University, and BD in Biology from University of Athens.
Heracles Kasimis
Director of Engineering
Heracles is a Director of Engineering at Intelligencia, overseeing the development and maintenance of company's software platform and architecture. Prior to Intelligencia, he worked as a Software Engineer for 12+ years in Information Technology sector, designing, developing and maintaining numerous web applications and services.
Heracles has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
Gerry Liaropoulos
Director of Data Science
Gerry leads the development of Intelligencia's Machine Learning algorithms. Prior to joining Intelligencia, he spent several years as a quant trader for various asset classes and has built quantitative trading models in commodities, ETFs and futures. He serves as a Machine Learning instructor at Propulsion Academy in Zurich.
Gerry holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA and has completed Advanced Studies in Computer Science at ETH Zürich.
Edoardo Madussi, MBA
Business Development Director
As a Business Development Director, Edo supports clinical development, portfolio management, and business development and licensing teams in the biopharma sector. He focuses on how implementing Intelligencia AI’s artificial intelligence platform enhances decision-making processes in drug development. Edoardo’s collaborative mindset and creative thinking are consistently geared toward achieving sustainable results for current and future customers.
His career includes pivotal roles in globally recognized firms, such as the Petrone Group, where he successfully launched the Clinical Trials Business Unit, founding its presence in the U.S. and promoting cross-functional integration across the group’s affiliates worldwide. As the Country Head and Managing Director, he initiated and led business development efforts, securing contracts with international partners in the U.S., Canada, and LATAM. In his previous role as Commercial Director of Business Development at Inceptua, Edoardo transformed the Clinical Trial Supply Services landscape, consistently innovating the space by introducing cutting-edge practices.
Edoardo holds two master’s degrees, one from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, specializing in international business administration, corporate strategy, and health economics. The second was in Health Management from the University of Lugano, Switzerland (USI), where he focused on health communication systems, epidemiology, and outcome research. His academic journey included research on the positive effects of doctor-patient interactions on health outcomes.
Outside of work, Edoardo founded Mad4cycling, a not-for-profit organization that combines his passion for cycling and networking, uniting people from around the world. Additionally, he is a graduate of the prestigious Swiss Officer’s Academy in Bern, Switzerland.
Phoebe Prosalika
Director of People Operations
Phoebe is the Director of People Operations at Intelligencia. Previously, she was leading the department of People Operations at Beat and was actively involved in scaling the company internationally, with a focus on culture and employee engagement.
Phoebe graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Harokopio University and obtained her MBA at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Antonis Stampoulis, PhD
Director of Engineering
Antonis is a Director of Engineering at Intelligencia. Prior to joining Intelligencia, Antonis worked with software teams in fin-tech, SaaS platforms, and retail, serving as the Director of Engineering at Originate NYC, and as a freelance consultant. His roles have included being an individual contributor, a tech-lead, a programming language designer, an engineering manager and a strategic advisor. Most recently, he has been the course creator for Terra.do's Climate Change for Software Engineers course.
Antonis is a PhD graduate Computer Science from Yale University and a post-doc researcher at MIT CSAIL, specializing in programming languages. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at NTUA.
Afroditi Katika
Director of Product
Afroditi joined Intelligencia's Product team from the BEAT app (ride-hailing app in Greece and Latin America) where she was responsible for determining the best drivers for a passenger. Prior to that, she spent 10 years in the UK and Italy working in the transportation and media industries.
Afroditi holds an engineering degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patra and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester. She is currently doing her thesis on sentiment analysis from Twitter for a second MSc in Healthcare Informatics.
Nikos Papadopoulos

Nikos is the Director of Finance at Intelligencia. He also runs an accounting and consulting firm in Athens, Greece since 2013.
Nikos holds an MSc in Financial Accounting from the Athens University of Economics and Business, while his bachelor's degree was in Financial and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus.
Marina Anastasiou
Senior Scientific Associate
Marina is a Senior Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to that, she was working as a freelance vascular immunology consultant. She has studied endothelial innate sensing in the context of inflammation, cardiovascular disease and peripheral vascular injury.
She holds a PhD in cardiovascular immunology with double affiliation with the University of Crete Medical School and Tufts University School of Graduate Biomedical Studies. She holds a MSc in Molecular Basis of Human Disease from the University of Crete Medical School and a BS in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Konstantinos is a Data Scientist at Intelligencia. During his studies, he focused on Image Processing and Machine Learning, specifically the discrimination of Photographs from Computer Graphics Images.

Elisavet is a Senior Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to that, she worked as a researcher at Amsterdam UMC-Locatie AMC and Vumc Cancer Center Amsterdam focusing on immunotherapy for hematological malignancies.
She holds a MSc in Biomedical Sciences, Track Oncology from the University of Amsterdam and a BSc in Biology with a specialization in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Bara Badwan, PhD
Data Scientist
Bara is a Data Scientist at with Intelligencia. He is currently focused on adapting AI tools to better predict therapeutic effectiveness. Bara obtained his PhD from Yale University where he researched the early visual system in Damon Clark’s computational neuroscience group.
Previously, he had studied chemistry and chemical engineering at MIT while working for Ed Boyden’s Synthetic Neurobiology lab. Bara is an author of a number of publications in a variety of scientific fields.

Karla is a Customer Success Manager at Intelligencia and brings diverse experience in account management and strategic engagement. After studying Public Health at UC San Diego, Karla jumped into healthcare operations and worked across many different functions including care delivery operations, benefits management, and internal audit.
She is passionate about asking tough questions to identify both business opportunities and potential risks, and she’s experienced in helping customers shift their perspectives to better align with company goals.

Previously, she worked as a biologist at Tzartos private laboratory for diagnosis and research in Neuroimmunology and as a medical representative for primary care at Chiesi Hellas. She participated in research programs regarding toxicology, neuroimmunology, thyroid cancer, neuromarketing, and behavioral analysis.

Orsalia is a Bioinformatician at Intelligencia and collaborates with the Laboratory of Histology-Embryology and Molecular Carcinogenesis Group at the Medical School of the University of Athens. Before joining Intelligencia, she worked as a bioinformatician in Max Delbrück Center in Berlin. Previously, she was a bioinformatician at HybriStat and BCSRC Alexander Fleming Institute. She has also worked as an electronic engineer at the University of Frankfurt in a collaboration with CERN LHC.

Maria Kokkali, PhD

Maria is a Senior Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. She is a neurobiologist with over 6 years’ work experience in neurodegenerative diseases and regenerative medicine and a summer research internship at the division of in-vitro fertilisation of the University Hospital of Ioannina. Prior to joining Intelligencia, Maria completed her PhD studies in Neuropharmacology at the University of Crete. Her Doctoral thesis was particularly focused on the physiological role and pharmacological interventions at the neurotrophin receptors in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) through the regulation of adult hippocampal neurogenesis.
She holds an MSc in Neuroscience (emphasizing on Neural Stem Cells and Nervous System Repair) from King’s College London and a BSc/Integrated Master’s in Biological Applications and Technology from the UoA.

The past few years she has worked as a Senior Medical Translator/Reviewer/Editor, undertaking the full diligence of clinical trial-related documents. Alexandra Kourgiantaki, PhD
Senior Scientific Associate
Alexandra is a Senior Scientific Associate in Intelligencia. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in University College London for the last 4 years. Main focus of her research was the restoration of muscle function in mouse models of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis using optogenetics and the simulation of the pathological microenvironment in microfluidics. Prior to this, Alexandra completed her PhD studies in Neuroscience and Neuropharmacology in the Medical School of Crete where she developed pioneering strategies for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and CNS injuries. Small molecules, collagen scaffolds and stem cells were her main expertise. During her PhD studies she had also been a visitor student in University of Cambridge in the Brain Repair Centre in Addenbrooke’s hospital where she got trained on murine spinal cord injury models.

Karolos Koutsoulelos

Karolos is a Principal Data Engineer at Intelligencia. Throughout his career, Karolos has been building SaaS applications in various industries. Before joining Intelligencia, he worked in the hospitality industry for several years developing solutions such as custom web applications and integration services for customers globally. He is a member of the academic staff of Athens Tech College.

Dimitra is a Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to that, she completed the 18-month Internship Program of Novartis Hellas. In its framework, she rotated between Medical Affairs, Commercial and Customer Excellence. She has also worked as a Research Assistant with a focus on Neuroimmunology and Rheumatology at Karolinska Institutet.

Eirini is a Senior Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. During her studies, she focused on the fields of molecular diagnostics and the development of lab-on-chip devices, applied in healthcare, as well as DNA repair and DNA Damage Response network.

Before Intelligencia, Elena was the Talent Acquisition Senior Supervisor at Avramar, and prior to that, she was International Talent Acquisition Specialist, EMEA in the IT and Hospitality Industry.

Nefeli Papadopoulou

Nefeli is a Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to joining Intelligencia, she worked on in silico approaches to antibody engineering at Collège de France and at the Centre for Genomic Regulation. She also served as a health policy trainee at the European Commission and as a junior consultant for the WHO.
She holds a Dual MS in Computational Biology and Developmental Biology from Sorbonne Université and a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London.

Michael Schizas
Bioinformatician
Michaelis a Bioinformatician at Intelligencia. Before joining the team he was providing bioinformatics support in a breast cancer lab and a cancer immunology lab. He analyzed various next-generation sequencing experiments in multiple projects that resulted in the publication of papers in scientific journals.
He completed a BSc in computer science at the University of Cyprus and holds a Master's degree in Computational Biology from NYU.
Dimitris Skyvalidas

Dimitris is a Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to joining Intelligencia, his research focused on the immunoregulatory action of some pharmaceutical compounds in psoriatic and neurological diseases. In addition, he worked as a medical sales representative for one and a half year.
Dimitris holds an MS in Clinical Applications of Molecular Medicine from UoT and BS in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from University of Thessaly.
Petros Stathakos, PhD

Petros is a Senior Scientific Manager at Intelligencia. He is a neuroscientist/biochemist with over 7 years of experience inn the field of neuroscience. Before joining Intelligencia, Petros was a research scientist at Eli Lilly focusing on developing human stem cell-derived neuronal assays for neurodegenerative disease drug discovery.
Petros holds a PhD in Translational Health Sciences (Neuroscience) from University of Bristol UK and a BS (Hons) in Neuroscience with Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, UK.

2 years at Karolinska Institutet and 5 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she worked in the field of cancer cell biology investigating many tumor types. She focused on the roles of cancer cell derived exosomes in tumor microenvironment and the possible use of exosomes as biomarkers’ source for prediction of response to different treatments (chemotherapy, radiopharmaceuticals and immune checkpoint therapy). She is also an author/co-author in scientific publications in high impact factor journals.
Julia holds a BSc in Biology from University of Athens, a MSc in Molecular Medicine from Uppsala University and finishing her PhD at Karolinska Institutet.

Emma is a Scientific Associate at Intelligencia. Prior to joining Intelligencia, she worked in the field of Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information for Medwork and for Amgen Hellas.
Emma holds a BSc in Molecular and Cell Biology and an MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Strasbourg, focusing on the imaging of RNA polymerase II transcription.

Névine Zariffa, M. Math
Scientific Advisory Board Chair
Névine Zariffa is the Chair of Intelligencia AI’s Scientific Advisory Board. In this role, she provides strategic guidance on the company’s product development and roadmap while leading and coordinating the activities of the scientific advisory board.
She is a highly accomplished thought leader in the fields of biostatistics and data science with extensive experience across all phases of drug development. Most recently she served as the SVP of Biometrics and Information Sciences at AstraZeneca (AZ).
Over her 25-year pharma career, she held senior roles at GlaxoSmithKline and AZ where she also led the enterprise data & analytics initiative. She has been a key contributor to development strategies for over 200 drug projects across oncology, cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, inflammation, and renal diseases. Névine was a reviewer for The Lancet and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications to her name.
She is currently a strategic consultant to several organizations including scientific data consortia such as ctMoniTR. She advised the FDA, Office of the Commissioner, on the application of real-world evidence to COVID-19 and further supported COVID-19 efforts through her work at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In addition to Intelligencia AI, she currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of ANOVA, ZS Associates and Beaconcure. She was a board member of CDISC for six years. In 2021, she published her first novel, Sisters Pieced Together.
She holds her master of math degree in statistics from the University of Waterloo, and her bachelor of science in pure math from McGill University.
Andreas Beroutsos

In his corporate advisory role with Intelligencia AI, Andreas is focused on strategy, finance and talent growth.
As a seasoned private equity investor, he has held leadership roles in various global organizations. Over the past 16 years, he has served as the Senior Investment Executive at BW Group. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Private Equity and Infrastructure at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), the leading Canadian institutional investor. He was a Senior Partner/Head of Illiquid Investments at Eton Park Capital Management.
Before his investing career, Andreas was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the global private equity practice, North American financial services and global recruiting. He also served on the committee that elects the firm’s senior partners.
He resides in NY, is active globally, and has served on numerous corporate and not-for-profit boards in education and the arts. He has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University and Harvard Business School.
Vassilis Gorgoulis, MD, PhD
Scientific Advisor
In his advisor role for Intelligencia AI, Professor Gorgoulis is involved with the supervision of projects associated with drug repurposing and machine learning to evaluate molecular targets and mechanisms in oncology. He and his group have teamed up with Intelligencia AI’s bioinformatics and data science team to provide solutions that involve AI techniques in order to decipher key mechanisms in cancer biology with the main goal of discovering novel therapeutics.
Prof. Gorgoulis is a molecular pathologist who is internationally recognized in the fields of genomic instability in cancer, cellular senescence and machine learning algorithms for predicting drug response in cancer.
Currently, he is a professor and the Director of the Department of Histology – Embryology (DHE), Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He is also a professor and Chair of Clinical and Molecular Pathology, at Medical School, University of Dundee, UK.
Additionally, he serves as an adjunct professor in the Biomedical Research Foundation, Academy of Athens, Greece; is an honorary professor, at the Institute of Cancer Sciences, University of Manchester, UK; visiting professor, at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Surrey, UK; and an elected member in the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO).
Prof. Gorgoulis has 337 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, is listed in SCI, and has more than 30,500 citations. He has been actively involved with more than 200 speaking engagements at various international conferences, seminars, etc., and has contributed 14 chapters to international textbooks.
Prof. Gorgoulis graduated in 1988 (Summa Cum Laude) and received his PhD in 1994 (Summa Cum Laude) from the Faculty of Medicine, National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received his Medical Specialty in Pathology (Summa Cum Laude) in 1996.
Pete Georgiadis

Pete Georgiadis serves as a corporate advisor to Intelligencia AI.
He is a serial entrepreneur, experienced operator and the founder and CEO of Synetro Group, a Chicago-based private investment and strategic advisory firm. Since founding Synetro in 2000, he has led the firm’s investment in over 50 companies and has personally helped build more than a dozen software, business services and manufacturing companies, including Insurance Noodle Inc., Knowledge Advisors Inc., Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, CrossCheck Compliance, Corporate Synergies Group and dScout, Inc. He currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Pleina Group, and sits on the boards of CrossCheck Compliance and dScout, Inc.
Prior to founding Synetro, Pete was the COO of Lante Corporation, a technology consulting firm. He led the strategic repositioning and operating transformation of Lante and prepared it for a successful IPO. Before Lante, he was with McKinsey and Company, where he was a leader in the firm’s marketing and sales & channel management practices. He started his career at Hewlett-Packard Co., in marketing and general management roles in the UK and Switzerland.
Pete holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s of computer science from London’s Imperial College and a bachelor’s of science in electronic engineering from the University of Sussex. He is a committed supporter of a number of educational and social service organizations in the U.S. and Europe.
Aristotelis Tsirigos, PhD
Scientific Advisor
As a scientific advisor, Dr. Tsirigos has played a pivotal role in Intelligencia AI’s development of a cutting-edge machine-learning model designed to forecast the technical and regulatory success of clinical trials. He continues to provide guidance and expertise to the growing company, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience in machine learning and bioinformatics.
Dr. Tsirigos is a professor of medicine and pathology at the NYU School of Medicine where he also serves as the co-director of precision medicine and director of applied bioinformatics. He leads a team of 25+ computational biologists and data scientists and his research focus is primarily on cancer epigenetics, chromatin organization, and AI-based diagnostics in cancer and other diseases.
Dr. Tsirigos has more than 20 years of experience in genomics and machine learning at NYU and IBM Research. He has co-authored more than 150 studies in peer-reviewed journals, including high-impact studies in cancer epigenetics, chromatin organization, high-throughput single-cell transcriptomic analyses, and precision diagnostics using deep learning.
He received his doctorate in computer science from the Courant Institute of New York University and his bachelor’s from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
Violetta Kalathaki

As a corporate advisor, Violetta focuses on providing strategic guidance to product development and marketing functions at Intelligencia AI. Before moving into an advisory role, Violetta served as the Chief Product Officer at the company for three years building the product development organization and overseeing product strategy and development.
Violetta brings a breadth of experience, including seven years at Google where she played a pivotal role in developing products such as Adsense Native Ads and spearheading a high-touch growth marketing team for Adwords. Her extensive experience also encompasses valuable consulting insights gained during her tenure at McKinsey, along with a solid foundation in the startup ecosystem.
Violetta holds a master's degree in economics and management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from The National Technical University of Athens.
Aiman Shalabi, PharmD, MBA

As a scientific advisor to Intelligencia AI, Aiman helps guide the organization on overall strategy and how the health tech company can help pharmaceutical organizations bring better medicines to patients, faster.
Aiman has 25 years of experience in healthcare innovation. He is currently the managing director and CEO of a healthcare holding/investment company funded by Sheikh Fawaz Alhokair in Saudi Arabia and also serves as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
Previously Aiman was the Global VP for Cell and Gene Therapies at GSK, Global VP for Immuno-Oncology with AstraZeneca, VP of Global Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca, and Head of Immuno-Oncology at MedImmune. Aiman also served as the Chief Medical Officer at the Cancer Research Institute and has consulted for cancer collaborative research groups (US, EU, Asia) while also holding teaching roles in academic centers including Harvard Business School and Georgetown University.
In the pharmaceutical industry, he has led global teams that delivered four new cancer medicines and gained approval from global regulators including the FDA, EMEA, PMDA, and sFDA generating over $2B in annual revenues.
Aiman started his career at the National Cancer Institute (NIH), where he managed 26 cancer medicines, and was awarded by U.S. President Bill Clinton for providing early access to medicines for leukemia (Gleevec) and breast cancer (Herceptin).
Aiman holds five university degrees including two post-graduate degrees (PharmD, MBA).

As an engineer, Simo has a passion for building products and businesses. Since 2010, he has been actively investing in and supporting the growth of a range of companies in the technology and business services industries. Serving in roles ranging from investor to board member, to an active operating team member, Simo is passionate about working with teams committed to building exceptional solutions and great companies.
Previously, Simo worked for five years as a management consultant at McKinsey where he served a broad set of financial services clients. Before that, he served as a group manager, specializing in the development of enterprise software at Oracle.
Simo holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a technology enthusiast, skier, and a married father of two living near Philadelphia.
